Аннотация. Аннотация. Исследование посвящено специфике интерпретации в современном американском кине-матографе противоречия между идеалами гражданских прав и свобод и принципами обеспечения государственной безопасности в США. Описаны основные приоритеты политики государственной безопасности США в ХХI веке и действия правительства по их решению, вызывающие неоднозначную реакцию в обще-стве. Приведены результаты контент-анализа ряда американских кинофильмов, характеризующие идеологическую составляющую конфликта через выбор персонажей и их действия. Выявлены глав-ные оценочные компоненты интерпретации конфликта между обеспечением государственной без-опасности и гарантией гражданских свобод.
Summary. Summary. The goal of this study is to examine how the contradiction between the ideals of civil rights and freedoms and the principles of state security in the United States are interpreted in contemporary American cinema. The main priorities and problems of the United States national security policy in the 21st century are described, as well as the controversial measures taken by the American government in order to deal with the problems. The results are presented of the content analysis of a number of American movies, which characterize the ideology of the conflict through the selection of characters and their actions. The main axiological compo-nents of the interpretation of the conflict between ensuring state security and guaranteeing civil liberties were identified.
